Veronica Diaz

RCIC#:R533637

Veronica was born in Mexico and since her early years dreamt of the opportunity to visit, study and work overseas. She focused her energy in gaining several academic awards and scholarships during her student life as a means to make her dream come true. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the Autonomous Popular University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP).

After graduating from University, Veronica was hired by the largest mortgage originator in Mexico and one of the largest providers of mortgage financing in Latin America where she worked for six years. As Human Resources Manager, she discovered one of her first professional passions: people. Veronica also obtained a Master's Degree in Business Management and Finance from the same University while working for The Institute of the National Fund for Workers' Housing (INFONAVIT).

After more than 10 years of experience in Mexico, she decided to follow her childhood dream. She visited Vancouver in 2013 for the first time as an ESL (English as Second Language) student. Veronica soon realized Canada was the place where she wanted to live. She later obtained a NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement, now named Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA)) work permit which was a key element to becoming a permanent resident in Canada.

Through her personal experience and after obtaining her permanent residency on her own, Veronica discovered a new passion: immigration. She realized that the immigration processes are complex and that not everyone is comfortable in doing it by themselves. She decided to return back to school to obtain her Certificate in Immigration Laws, Policies and Procedures from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a goal in mind: to combine her abilities, work experience and knowledge in order to offer immigration services with high standards of professionalism.

After graduating, Veronica passed the Entry to Practice Exam and became a RCIC since 2019. She is in good standing with CCIC, the governing body that oversees the profession.

Currently, Veronica lives in Coquitlam with her husband and son.

Veronica has gained professional experience in Mexico and Canada where she has specialized in Human Resources, Finance, Project Management, and Customer Service.

Veronica will combine her analytical, procedural and strategic mind to help you with your immigration process.
