Provincial Nominee Programs
Every province has a Provincial Nominee Program, which is an excellent option to immigrate to Canada for those candidates that are not competitive in the Express Entry point system.
You can apply in the province where you wish to make a living. All Provinces manage their own program separately to IRCC as they want to retain those with the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to their local economy.
The most common PNP categories are the following:
-
Graduate Students,
-
Skilled workers,
-
Semi-skilled workers (with restrictions), and
-
Investors who want to create an operate a business (with conditions)
The challenge with a PNP process is to keep yourself updated as PNP authorities tend to modify their requirements quite often. The tendency with most PNPs is to move to a point-based system. The majority of PNPs categories require you to have a valid job offer. Few exemptions apply to this rule. During our appointment we can assess your current profile and project your points to offer insight into how you can become an ideal candidate.
